ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - STADIUM COURT RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
Stadium Court is a purpose-built home in Stoke-on-Trent built on the site of a former greyhound stadium. It is surrounded by lovely landscaped gardens and is conveniently close to the Festival Park shopping centre.
The care we offer
Stadium Court offers the excellent standard of care that you’d expect in a Bupa home. We provide nursing care, nursing dementia care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. We employ only registered nurses and highly trained care assistants, who provide professional 24-hour care in a respectful and supportive manner.
Food
Every resident’s food needs and preferences are discussed in detail soon after they arrive to stay with us here at Stadium Court. Our experienced chef will then cater for all individual requirements. Every meal is freshly prepared, nutritionally checked and cooked with fresh ingredients.
A tasty, varied and seasonal menu is provided each day, with a choice of hot or cold meal always available. Residents can take their meals with others in the traditional dining rooms, or eat in the privacy of their own room, whichever they prefer. Friends and family are also most welcome to pop in and join residents for meals if they would like.
Activities
At Stadium Court, there is always something enjoyable for every resident to do each day. Individual and group activities are tailored to suit residents’ interests and levels of ability. Such activities include arts and crafts, reminiscence sessions, fun filled games of bingo, a spot of gentle gardening and manicures for some on-site pampering.
Residents can continue to pursue existing hobbies and long standing interests if they wish. A mobile library and entertainers often visit us, much to the resident’s enjoyment. We also arrange regular trips out; these have recently included visiting the Blackpool Illuminations and the local garden centre.
