ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ST PAULS CARE CENTRE
St Pauls Care Centre is a modern purpose built nursing home that opened in 2009 and is located within a delightful residential area in Hemel Hempstead just a short walk away from the town centre and with access to all the main bus routes. Hemel Hempstead has excellent commuter links with a direct railway line to London Euston and easy access to the A41. The M1 lies to the east and the M25 to the south.
It is owned by Westgate Healthcare, a family run Award Winning business (see article below), who have over 20 years of experience in successfully providing the care and support that their residents require.
The home is registered to care for up to 88 physically frail elderly service users in need of nursing care and has been carefully designed to offer:

Our main aim is to provide person centred care by giving every resident the freedom to continue their daily lives with dignity, independence, privacy and the widest possible personal choice.
Our experienced and qualified staff ensure that the care provided is entirely tailored to the needs and desires of our residents. We have a contract with a local GP Surgery who provide weekly surgeries for our residents in our own treatment room.
The home is arranged over four floors with a central circular corridor surrounding a sensory garden allowing for a continuous ‘wander path’ for the benefit of our residents with dementia.
There are 88 bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room and comfortable colour co-ordinated furnishings, nurse call, television point, internet and telephone points, bedside light and high quality vanity units. Four bedrooms offer wider doors and ceiling hoists for residents that require a little more assistance.
