ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - SHARSTON HOUSE NURSING HOME
Sharston House Nursing Home has been a family run home since 1965 and is situated in one of Knutsfords most pleasant locations, less than half a mile from the very pretty town centre of knutsford and its conservation area. Sharston House is set in attractive grounds with lawned areas and mainly mature shrubs and trees. There is a pleasant sheltered patio and outdoor seating areas.
The house is an interesting combination of an old Victorian building with many original architectural details coupled with additional more recent bedrooms. The majority of our residents rooms have en-suite facilities with many ground floor rooms having patio door access to the gardens. We encourage residents to personalise their own rooms.
Our friendly, dedicated staff achieve high standards of care using professional nursing experience to ensure that residents receive nursing care appropriate for their needs and are treated as individuals. A plan of Holistic Care is tailored by a trained RGN, involving both the resident and their family, which is regularly reviewed. The local GP holds a weekly surgery at Sharston House to see patients when necessary and support and liase with our nursing team.
We recognise that meal times play an important part in the social life of Sharston House and provide a welcoming environment in our dining room. Our chefs offer tempting daily dishes using fresh local produce. We are able to accommodate individual tastes and any special dietary requirements.
