ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - SHARED LIVES FORMERLY (CAPS SUPPORTED LODGINGS SCHEME)
Croydon Adult Placement Scheme (CAPS) is a shared lives service that is managed by the London Borough of Croydon. People who have been approved and then trained by the scheme as the 'main carer' provide personal care and/or support to adults with learning disabilities or a past or present experience of mental ill health. People who use the service receive care and support from their main carer who they usually live with.
