Rowan Garth is a purpose-built home in the residential area of Anfield. The home is very close to Liverpool City Centre with easy access via the regular bus service and is conveniently located for local shops.
The care we offer
This nursing home offers the high standard of care that you’d expect from Bupa. We provide residential care, nursing care, residential dementia care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. Rowan Garth welcomes residents from all funding types including private funders, local authority or NHS continuing care.
Food
Shortly after every resident’s arrival at the home, their food needs and preferences are discussed with our chef who will then cater for individual requirements. Appetising meals are prepared daily, nutritionally checked and cooked with only fresh ingredients. Residents can choose to eat in the dining rooms or in their own bedroom, whichever they prefer. Friends and relatives are also most welcome to join residents for meals if they wish, for a small charge.
We make sure that on their birthdays each resident receives a celebratory meal and a personalised, homemade cake to make their day extra special.
Activities
Residents’ interests and levels of ability are taken into account when arranging daily activities. These are an important part of life at Rowan Garth, and include bingo, sing-a-long sessions, pub lunches and other social activities. Visitors are always welcome and can join in with any of our activities if they wish.
There are also regular monthly themed events. For example summer fetes and Christmas celebrations as well as the many charitable and community initiatives we are involved with.
