Rose Court Lodge provides residential and dementia care for older people. We treat each person as an individual and offer a supportive, homely and welcoming atmosphere within a caring environment. Staff support and encourage people in maintaining choice and control over their lives.
At Rose Court Lodge we strive to make the experience a comfortable, fulfilling and enriching one for everyone who stays with us.
We enable people to maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We encourage regular interaction with the local community, including contact with friends, family and local groups. We encourage friends and family to be involved through regular visits and participation at special activities, events and open days.
Residents can choose to be involved in a wide variety of leisure, social and recreational activities. These include arts and crafts sessions, bingo, baking, gardening, dominoes and various card games. In-house entertainment is provided on a weekly basis, including a clothes show where many residents enjoy purchasing accessories and clothes.
Day trips and outings are popular activities and residents are supported if they wish to go on holidays or short breaks. We have excellent links with the local community and local church and a monthly church service takes place within the home.
A hairdresser visits the home each week as well as chiropodists, physiotherapists, opticians and other professionals.
Meal times are an important part of the day at Rose Court Lodge. Our experienced catering staff prepare a menu of home cooked food every day and we cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective.
