ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - RIVERSIDE & ROSEBERRY LODGE
At Riverside and Roseberry Lodges we provide support to enable twelve individuals, with a learning disability and associated multiple and complex needs, to develop and maintain their independence.
The service is situated in North Ormesby, a few minutes drive from Middlesbrough with its varied educational and recreational opportunities.
Each person is encouraged to develop a wide range of activities according to their interests. An important part of the service we provide is enabling individuals to make full use of the facilities in the local community.
The accommodation at Riverside and Roseberry Lodges is extremely spacious and all rooms are furnished to a high standard to create an attractive and welcoming environment.
There are six apartments, each with one bedroom with en-suite facilities and its own kitchenette. There are a further six bedrooms which also have en-suite facilities.
The service has a number of communal areas including lounges, dining rooms, quiet rooms for relaxation and multi-sensory rooms.
The service has an enclosed garden with an attractive patio area. People are encouraged to help maintain the garden as part of their daily living skills development.
Staff will spend time with people before they move to Riverside and Roseberry Lodges to make transition as smooth as possible.
