Rivers Reach is a large detached property with beautiful grounds, in a semi rural position set back from the road, near to local garden centres and fisheries.
Rivers Reach offers support for five adults with a mild to moderate learning disability and additional needs, such as dual diagnosis with mental health or health issues. Both men and women are supported at Rivers Reach and most have verbal communication skills.
Rivers Reach is close to the local beaches of Lee on Solent and Stokes Bay and within easy reach of the local shops at both Fareham Shopping Centre and Titchfield Village. Due to the limited public transport, Rivers Reach provides two house vehicles to promote community access and the wide range of interests held by those who live here.
Inside, Rivers Reach has a large lounge and separate dining room with adjoining sun lounge, offering distinct communal areas for people to use; whether relaxing, socialising or watching films. During the day structured activities are promoted and facilitated with personal interests pursued through various courses and groups.
The individuals living at Rivers Reach are supported by an established, mature staff team who promote continual opportunities for new experiences and foster a calm, consistent and caring environment of support, as well as promoting independence and personal achievements.
The people who live at Rivers Reach enjoy many craft activities including rug making and many are ‘Theatre Buffs’ and enjoy going to shows, plays and to see tribute bands.
