ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - RATHSIDE REST HOME
Rathside Residential Home is in Scawby and provides care and support to 31 older people who may have dementia. The service, divided into three units, has a lounge/diner and several bedrooms to each unit. Some bedrooms are on the upper floor accessed by a passenger lift or a flight of stairs. There are limited ornamental gardens and there is a ‘cinema’ area equipped with screen and projector. People also have access to computers with internet.The Home is fully complient and Investors in People which has recently again retained this award.
The home meets the standards in individualising Clients needs from, intensive interaction to a wide range of activities on offer through an individual activities co-ordinator.
