ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - PINEWOOD LODGE
Pinewood Lodge - part of the Quantum Care group - is a comfortable and welcoming, purpose-built care home for 60 older people in South Oxhey. The home is situated in pleasant grounds and is local within walking distance of local shops and amenities.
There are four separate living areas with full wheelchair access and assisted bathing facilities. Each consists of 15 single rooms with en-suite facilities, telephone, TV point and call bell system. Our bright sun lounge, enclosed garden and extensive outdoor spaces are enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.
The home provides care for people with a range of health care needs and has two living areas dedicated to those living with dementia. The home is accredited by Hertfordshire County Council to provide specialist dementia care, and has to undergo a rigorous annual evaluation process in order to achieve that status. Other services include two respite beds for those needing short breaks and an on-site Day service which caters for local residents.
Our dedicated activities team organise a wide range of regular activities including arts and crafts, games, outings, and regular visits from entertainers amongst many others. We always welcome visitors and welcome involvement from families and friends.
