Situated within a residential area of Winsford, Cheshire, Overdene House is a 70 bedded care home offering Nursing, Residential and Respite care and Specialist services for young physically disabled people.
Meet the team
With over 30 years’ experience in health and social care, our Home Manager and members of the care team are focused on ensuring kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
We understand that meals are a very important part of our Residents’ day, our menus cover over 300 recipes, a variety of choices for each meal with a selection of snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments available 24 hours a day.
Family and friends are welcome to join Residents for meals.
Hobbies and interests
Activity Co-ordinators working with family and the Resident activity committee ensure the Residents can choose from a busy activity menu:
• Quizzes
• Animal visits
• Church services
• Musical events
• Themed cuisine events
• Professional entertainers
• Lifestyle centre with bowling and swimming
Residents enjoy regular outings to local places of interest including the library, park and museums or why not join our Activities Committee and you decide.
Outdoor areas
Popular with Residents, our attractive courtyard garden is a great place for garden enthusiasts.
There are open and secure patio areas complete with comfortable seating in tranquil surroundings where Residents can relax and meet with other Residents and family members.
