"When Dad went into Townsend House last September I was a little worried how he would settle in, these worries soon dispersed. The care he has been given is second to none. All the staff from office, kitchen, cleaners, care staff and nursing staff have made sure he is well looked after and lacking for nothing. If a Doctor is needed as has happened on a few occasions one is called straight away. All the rooms are available for Dad to use and nothing is too much trouble. It is a joy to visit and see Dad so much at home and making friends with the other clients and staff alike."

ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - OSJCT TOWNSEND HOUSE (GLOUCESTERSHIRE)


Townsend House provides nursing and residential care for up to 40 older people.

The home is located on the main street of Mitcheldean, an attractive village on the norhern edge of the beautiful Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.  It is operated by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT). OSJCT is a leading charity which provides care for older people in over 70 care homes and extra care schemes.
