ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - OSJCT THE COOMBS
The Coombs is registered to provide nursing and residential care for 37 older people.
The home is situated close to the centre of Coleford in the beautiful Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. It is operated by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT). OSJCT is a leading charity which provides care for older people in over 70 care homes and extra care schemes.
Built as an imposing private residence in 1856, The Coombs has subsequently been sympathetically renovated to provide an attractive care home. Three architect designed single storey lodges were added to the main Grade II listed house, which enables the home to offer a wide choice of accommodation for its residents.
