Most people would prefer to stay in their own home rather than go into a residential or nursing home; indeed domiciliary care is the UK Government’s preferred option for people in need of help with maintaining their independence. Registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, Helping Hands Watford Ltd provides experienced, friendly carers for adults needing care in the comfort of their own homes. We care for older people, those having learning difficulties, people having physical disabilities and persons suffering health problems such as dementia or stroke. We cover Watford, Kings Langley, Abbots Langley, Garston, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, Apsley, Chorleywood, Hemel Hempstead, Bushey and Bedmond. However we are willing and able to provide care in other parts of the UK depending upon the package(s) required.
Our Service – Your Choice
We provide not only personal care but our friendly staff can also help with day-to-day domestic tasks like cleaning and shopping. Someone can visit even if you just need a chat over a cup of tea. Visits are available from 30 minutes upwards. We provide excellent care, including to those funded by Social Services or privately, and welcome clients who are in receipt of Direct Payments or who have Personal Budgets. Some clients are self funded and others are covered under insurances.
We do big or small packages, live-in or live-out, and provide a choice of one or two carers at reasonable rates. We match carers to clients, aiming to provide continuity of care by them but can always provide cover in the case of an unexpected problem such as staff sickness. References are available upon request and our pricing is transparent; indeed you will know from our first meeting with you what our services will cost you or your funder and we will not proceed until you have agreed to our charges in writing so you know there will be no surprises or shocks.
