ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MEADOW COURT
At Meadowcourt we offer care and support to eight individuals with a learning disability and associated complex support needs, including behavioural support.
The service is situated in Hooton Roberts, a village just a few miles from Doncaster and Rotherham. Service users are encouraged to develop and experience a range of activities according to their interests and aspirations. We make full use of the leisure facilities available in the area and have good links with specialist services, such as college courses and supported employment.
Meadowcourt has six bedrooms with en-suite facilities and two self-contained apartments each with their own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area. These provide the opportunity for a more independent style of living.
The communal rooms include a lounge, a kitchen and a dining room, a multi-sensory room, a quiet room and an activity room. There is a large garden with a sensory area. Service users have the opportunity to grow vegetables and plants in the garden if they so wish.
