ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MAYFAIR LODGE
Mayfair Lodge - part of the Quantum Care group - is a purpose-built, 62-bed care home for older people. The home is located in Potters Bar and is close to road and rail links as well as local shops and parks.
We offer care for people with a range of health needs and two of our four living areas are dedicated to providing care to those living with dementia. The home is accredited by Hertfordshire County Council to provide specialist dementia care, and has to undergo a rigorous annual evaluation process in order to achieve that status.
All of our bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are fully furnished. They also come fully equipped with a telephone, TV point and call bell system.
We pride ourselves on our warm and happy environment and arrange a number of activities including regular professional entertainment, weekly craft sessions, sing-a-longs and games afternoons. Other entertainment and support is provided by an active “friends” group.
Our kitchen provides hot, nutritious meals daily and can cater for special dietary needs. There is always a choice of dishes, and residents are involved in drawing up the menu.
We have a Day Service Centre which can accommodate 10 local residents. This service runs for 7 days a week.
