Maude's Meadow is a local authority care home with accommodation for up to 28 older people. It is in a quiet residential area of Kendal.
The property is a purpose built two-storey building arranged into two living units, one for people with dementia and one for frail older people. Accommodation and communal areas are on two floors, the upper being accessed by a passenger lift.
