ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MARQUIS COURT (TUDOR HOUSE) CARE HOME
Marquis Court (Tudor House) provides both general nursing and residential care, plus we have respite beds which can be booked on a long or short term basis. We also provide end of life and palliative care with our registered nurses undergoing thorough training and regular updates in this speciality. The home has 46 beds and provides 24 hour a day care. We are situated in Hednesford a suburb of Cannock within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and M6 motorway. Our person centred approach means that each resident is an idividual treated with respect and dignity. each resident has a named key worker and an individual care plan. The home is well equipped and comfortable. Each unit features a bright spacious main lounge with modern flat screen televisions and DVD players. There is also a communal dining room on each floor. Residents also benefit from gardens with a pleasant area leading off from ground level. The bedrooms are spacious and all benefit from en-suite facilities. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to make it feel more homely. Our chef provides nutritionally balanced menus that are carefully prepared to ensure the best nutritional value for our residents and we regularly review the content to ensure all our residents have nutritious meals to maintain weight and health. The residents are consulted on their likes and dislikes and we cater for all dietary requirements. There is a hairdressing salon within the home which is open on a weekly basis. Family and friends are welcome to visit anytime. We have an activities leader who works 5 days a week with our residents to enable them to participate in hobbies of their choice and we encourage them to take part in activities that interest them.
