ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - LYNDE HOUSE
Lynde House has grown in reputation over the years due to the quality of care provided to our residents and the support we offer to relatives and friends. We are first and foremost a nursing care home offering both general personal and nursing care and more specialist nursing care to our residents at every stage of their later life. We have particular expertise in care for residents who have had a stroke and end of life care but we also have many residents who are quite independent but enjoy the caring aspects of the home, the company and the huge range of activities and socialising that goes on day after day.
Our general manager is an experienced professional manager with over 25 years in healthcare, most recently as Director of Clinical services of an acute NHS Hospital Trust. She is supported by a team of dedicated professionals whose mission is to maintain the highest of standards for our residents in a professional but relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Barchester puts staff development as one of the core aspects to achieving good quality care; we at Lynde House endorse this fully and ensure a well-trained, competent team of staff to care for our residents.
