Linden House Nursing Home in Wellington, Somerset is registered to provide accommodation for 34 people who require nursing and personal care.
Linden House caters for ladies and gentlemen in need of general or specialist nursing and / or personal care who are over the age of 18. We undertake an assessment of needs prior to admission to ensure that we can meet the needs of the individuals at Linden House. We specialise in caring for those who require nursing care who may have medical needs arising from a progressive degenerative disease or from age related illnesses. However, we also care for those who elect to come in to a caring and welcoming environment because they no longer wish to remain at home. Our environment is such that we can provide care for those in need of little more than reassurance that there is someone available 24 hours a day to those who need regular nursing input. We can also provide care for residents with dementia or learning disabilities if this is secondary to their need for nursing care and we use a variety of screening tools to monitor the health of residents eg nutritional scoring, blood and urine tests.
