ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - LEA GREEN COURT CARE HOME
Lea Green Court is a care home in gosforth area with good links to local shops and bus routes. We offer support for people with dementia nursing needs for older people and people with dementia. It has 45 beds. It is registered with the Care Quality Commission for the regulated activities of Accommodation for people who require nursing or personal care; Diagnostic and screening procedures; and Treatment of disease, disorder or injury. We are more than just a nursing home we strive to make it the peron's home, a place where they can maintain thier independence and personal freedom and live their lives with enjoyment and fulfillment. We aim to treat all our residents as we would wish to be treated ourselves. We also aim to provide person centred care and ensure that everybody has choice privacy and that their dignity is respected. We provide full support to relatives including opportunity to vist at any time, come along and enjoy meals with relatives and loved ones, a dementia cafe on a monthly basis where we raise awareness of the dementia, as well as giving support and comfort. Lea Green accept local authority funded people. Lea green in recognised with Newcastle City Council for its continued commitment to a better life of people with Dementia.
