ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - KILVIE HOUSE
Kilvie House nursing home is a large, spacious property offering 24 hour nursing support for people with learning disabilities, who may have mental health needs too.The home is based in Kingswood and caters for eight residents with a range of complex physical needs. Currently, the residents at Kilvie House range in age from those in their 30s to those aged 80 plus.
Service users are asked to make their own daily decisions, for example, which member of staff they would like to support them or which activities they would like to take part in. Where a person is not able to tell staff what they want, staff involve family and friends in making decisions.
