Modern and purpose-built, Inglewood Nursing Home is situated in the pleasant Ings residential area, within easy reach of Redcar town centre and local shops.
The care we offer
Inglewood has been carefully designed over two floors to create a delightful, well-equipped home for elderly people and provides specialist residential dementia and nursing dementia care. The dedicated staff at Inglewood offer nursing, convalescence, palliative and respite care.
Food
Appetising and nutritionally-balanced meals are important to us at Inglewood and we provide our residents with a variety of interesting seasonal menus. There are always hot and cold alternatives available as well as a range of snacks and lighter options.
Delicious home-made cakes are served each day, and there is a Night Bite menu available between 6.30pm and 6.30am, ensuring that we meet the needs of each individual.
Activities
Every month, residents and their families can choose to get involved in the home’s special events, based on a variety of themes depending on the time of the year. They might include Burns Night suppers, Wimbledon celebrations and Summer fetes.
Other daily activities at Inglewood include reminiscence therapy, movement to music, board games, painting, beauty therapy and cooking – arranged by our dedicated activity co-ordinator. Residents also have plenty of opportunity to pursue their own hobbies and interests if they wish. Local entertainers, including theatre performers, singers and dancers, visit regularly.
