ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - IMMACOLATA HOUSE
Immacolata House provides accommodation for up to 49 people who require nursing and personal care. This home provides the majority of its care to people living with dementia.
Our stunning home is set in the Somerset countryside offering a beauitful setting overlooking the surrounding countryside. Enter the home and wander down the spacious colour-coded corridors and you'll hear laughter and music from one of our residents lounges, or someone sitting quietly reading in our drawing rooms.
Walk back outside and into our lovely landscaped garden and you'll find a patio area, winding paths, raised beds, ideal for planting and growing vegatables. Also a sensory garden, which is a real favourtire with our residents. From here you will discover our guests and residents favourite feature, "Benvenuto Fattoria', traslated means 'Welcome Farm'. Residents to our farm include, lop-earred rabbits, guinea pigs, peacocks, feather bantams, goats and alpacas.
At Immacolata House, as in all of our nursing homes, we have Registered Nurses in constant attendance, day and night. Of course, nursing isnt just about clinical and medical care. Our Nurses are good communicators and listeners too, working well as part of a team alongside residents, families friends and other specialists.
