The care we offer
Standards of care and cleanliness are exceptional, as you would expect from Bupa, and are tailored to individual requirements. Highfield provides long and short-term residential care. They can also provide specialist residential dementia care, short stay convalescence, respite, palliative care or support for those with Parkinson's disease.

Originally home to Admiral Bruin. This beautifully converted and extended Georgian house provides residents with every modern convenience while retaining its original character. There are two light, airy dining rooms and two elegant lounges with views over the home's picturesque landscaped gardens. Set in beautiful Suffolk countryside with easy access to the coast, Highfield provides a delightful location.
Bedrooms
The bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard with matching soft furnishings and all enjoy views of the pretty gardens. Most rooms are en-suite and there are also three double bedrooms available if required. All are equipped with a television point, telephone point, smoke detectors, thermostatic radiators and a 24-hour call system.
Home life and grounds
There is always something to do at Highfield. From spending time in one of the comfortable lounges or in the gardens, or enjoying a stroll in the nearby park, taking a shopping trip or going for a pub lunch. There is a varied programme of daily activities on offer to suit all interests and levels of mobility.
The beautiful landscaped gardens boast an inviting patio area and a sensory garden designed to stimulate all the senses. The gardens host a range of outdoor activities including bowls, afternoon tea and summer fetes. Residents who enjoy gardening are welcome to help out if they wish.
