ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - HEREFORD SHORT BREAKS & FOSTERING SERVICE (MIDLANDS REGION)
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulates the domiciliary care part of the Herefordshire Short Breaks and Fostering Service. This service provides care to children with disabilities in their own homes. The service is normally short term and supports families during periods when the usual family care and support cannot be maintained. This helps to prevent children needing respite care away from the family home. The fostering service is managed by the same manager but is regulated by OFSTED.
