Close to the peaceful village of Havering-atte-Bower in Romford and surrounded by the Essex countryside, Havering Court is a spacious, purpose-built nursing home.
The care we offer The home offers specialist nursing care to young people with physical disabilities. We care for those with Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis or brain injuries and those who have had strokes. The home can also provide nursing and palliative care, rehabilitation and support for those with learning disabilities. Individual, professional care and support is provided by our registered nurses, and highly trained carers alongside the dedicated home manager.
Key features of Havering Court The home is designed around the needs of its residents. There are a number of spacious lounge and dining areas with full lift access, and a multi-sensory room offers physical and mental stimulation for residents. Large landscaped gardens feature a pretty patio with tranquil water features and outdoor seating, the perfect place for residents to enjoy afternoon tea on warmer days. The gardens won a certificate of excellence from ‘London in Bloom’ in 2007 and second best Community Garden in 2008.
Bedrooms All the bedrooms at Havering Court are en-suite to ensure residents' privacy and freedom. Each room features a flatscreen television, telephone point and a 24-hour call system and some have views over the delightful gardens. Residents can choose their own colour scheme, personalise their rooms with their own belongings and even keep small pets if they wish to.
