ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - HAILSHAM HOUSE
Hailsham House is a modern property standing in a quiet rural location on the outskirts of Hailsham, near Eastbourne, East Sussex. It is one of a number of homes owned by a husband and wife team, Ernie & Dr Karen Graham and provides a friendly and homely environment for people with nursing care needs.The home consists of Care Suites for people with moderate/severe dementia. These provide supported living where personal and nursing care is available 24/7 under the supervision of Registered Nurses. There is also a social programme for each resident which provides daily activities as well as support with maintaining relationships with families and friends. In order to provide in-depth expertise for residents’ care, the home has a private arrangement with a NHS Pyschiatric Consultant who visits on a weekly basis.Each suite has much more space than a nursing home bedroom. This gives residents and their families social space to spend good quality time together in privacy and comfort. There is also dining space so that residents can enjoy their meals in their own room, if they wish, and there is a kitchenette so that residents and their guests can prepare drinks and snacks.
