ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - GOATACRE MANOR CARE CENTRE

Goatacre Manor Care Centre is a comprehensively equipped private family run nursing home situated in the Wiltshire hamlet of Goatacre.
Set within a 16th century grade II manor house, with additional barn conversions and hydro therapy facility, there are also attractive gardens and outdoor space.
The Centre is registered to provide nursing care for forty-eight male or female residents over the age of 65, but may also provide care for up to three people aged 18 - 65, within the overall number. All residents are assessed prior to admission to ensure that the home can provide the level of care needed and that the resident's individual needs are appropriate to the registration with the Care Quality Commission.
The Care Centre is equiped to care for residents with physical disabilities.
All of our rooms have en-suite facilities, with some having a wet room aswell.  Many rooms are sufficiently large to be used as bed-sitting rooms, or should a couple wish to be admitted to Goatacre Manor, these rooms would be perfect for them so that existing companionship can be maintained.  In addition, within the listed part of the Care Centre we have a self contained suite (bedroom, living room, and a fully fitted wet room).
Requests for emergency admissions are evaluated sympathetically and are frequently accepted.
The Centre ensures that every resident's individual needs and values are respected regardless of religion, culture, race or ethnic origin, sexuality or sexual orientation, political affiliation, marital status, parenthood, disabilities or impairments, and respects each resident's right to independence, privacy, dignity, fulfilment, the right to make informed choices and to take risks.
Goatacre Manor Care Centre is a member of The Registered Nursing Home Association which is recognised for its high standard of care of the elderly and the integrity of its members.
