ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - FRIARS MEAD
Friars Mead was established in 1992 as an independent Society within the Abbeyfield movement, and we are located in pleasant, quiet grounds close to the centre of Kings Langley.
We provide high quality specialist residential care in a welcoming, friendly and homely environment for those frail older people requiring personal care. We can accomodate up to twenty-seven residents.
We recognize that the decision to move into residential care is often difficult for both the elderly person and their family. We also recognize that Friars Mead will become their home, so we encourage residents to surround themselves with personal effects and small items of furniture to recreate their home environment.
For all our residents at Friars Mead we aim to provide the very best level of care, from tailored care requirements and specialist equipment to the provision of a wide range of activities, entertainment and outside visits.
