ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - FREEWAYS - MORLEY HOUSE
A home for 13 individuals with moderate to high support needs, located on a quiet residential square just off the Gloucester Rd, close to local amenities and easy bus routes. There is night waking staff available to residents throughout the night. The home offers an individualised day service package run from the home and in the local community, this includes many residents currently attending courses at city of Bristol college to develop their independent living skills.
Support Workers act as Role Models and embrace the idea in developing the individuals in relationships. Support Workers collaborate with individuals in identifying their needs to develop a plan of care, acknowledging that a referral on to alternative services or environment may be appropriate to meet those identified needs.
We believe that the principles essential to a good quality of life are: Privacy, Dignity, Independence,Choice, Rights and Fulfillment and in actively seeking to promote these, making our primary aim in the provision of the highest quality of life for individuals living at Morley House.
