ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - FREEWAYS - HILLSBOROUGH HOUSE
Hillsborough House is a 14 bedded residential home for adults with learning disabilities. It is situated in Keynsham, a short walk away from the local shops and amenities and is also well placed for access into Bath and Bristol.The home supports people with mild to moderate learning disabilities and some physical disabilities. The home benefits from having four ground floor bedrooms, which all have en-suite toilet facilities. Night waking staff is available throughout the night.Support workers enable the service users to be as independent as possible and support a range of individualised day services both at home and in the community.Service users are encouraged to lead an active social life and make good use of pubs and cafes in Keynsham. Service users also have an annual holiday to places of their choice, recent holiday destinations range from Cornwall, Weymouth and London to Ibiza, France and a Mediterranean cruise.Staff promote service user inclusion and involvement, diversity and equality and have a positive complaints/comments culture.
