Freelands Croft is a brand new purpose-built dementia care home located on the outskirts of Church Crookham, which is a village near to Fleet. The local area benefits from stunning local countryside. The home is in walking distance of local amenities and is conveniently located on local transport links to the town centre.
The care we offer Freelands Croft provides nursing care, specialist care for those with dementia, comvalescence, palliative care and respite. We employ registered nurses, specialist carers and highly-trained care assistants to provide professional 24-hour support in a respectful and understanding manner.
Food Soon after every resident’s arrival at Freelands Croft, their food needs and preferences are discussed. Our experienced chef will then cater for all individual requirements. Meals are freshly prepared onsite, nutritionally balanced, and cooked using fresh ingredients. A tasty, varied menu is provided every day, with a choice of hot or cold meals always available. Residents can choose to eat in either of the two sociable, yet traditional dining rooms, or in the privacy of their own room, if they prefer.
Activities Varied daily activities are very important, to stimulate the mind and body and enhance residents’ sense of wellbeing. As in all Bupa care homes, a dedicated activity co-ordinator ensures that there is always something enjoyable for every resident to do each day. Activities are designed to suit all levels of ability, and residents are also encouraged to pursue their own personal long standing hobbies and interests.
Regular entertainment is arranged including a series of themed, monthly events for residents which allow their friends and family to get involved in. This might include a summer garden party, Wimbledon celebrations and Bonfire Night party to name just a few.
