ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - FOURFIELDS
Fourfields - part of the Quantum Care group - is a comfortable 52-bed care home for older people comprising six small living units, all with single bedrooms. We provide care for people with a variety of health needs including specialist dementia services.
The home is accredited by Hertfordshire County Council to provide specialist dementia care, and has to undergo a rigorous annual evaluation process in order to achieve that status.
The home provides all ground level accommodation, with a very pretty enclosed garden that residents enjoy in the warmer months. Our Chef provides a choice of nutritious meals and can cater for special dietary needs. We also deliver respite care and meals on wheels.
Two activity coordinators organise a busy programme designed to suit the interests and abilities of the residents. We also maintain strong links with the community and a number of volunteers help with activities. Visitors are welcome at all times.
One of the core values of Quantum Care is that each and every employee is important and that is why we are committed to ensuring that all our staff have the professional skills and confidence to make the most of their role and to provide the best possible service to our clients. That’s why we’ve enjoyed Investor in People status since 2001 and place such a strong focus on training and development.
In additional to the residential services, we also respite care for those who are living in their own home, but who need a short break.
