ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - FLOWER PARK CARE HOME
Flower Park Care Home provides an excellent level of care and service to up to 40 Service Users we consider extended family members.
A purpose built home over two floors, the first floor is dedicated to 24 Service Users with specialist dementia care needs. The ground floor provides care for up to 16 Service Users with nursing needs, incorporating specialist nursing care such as end of life care.
Situated on Rossington Street, Denaby Main, overlooking Denaby Main Memorial Park, Flower Park is located at the heart of the community with local transport links and car parking facilities. Rooms are tastefully decorated in accordance with individual choice and preference and rooms are furnished with state of the art nursing equipment when necessary, to ensure the provision of excellent nursing care. All Service Users are encouraged to personalize their rooms, to reflect the ‘home from home’ ethos we endeavour to create.
Our unique person-centred care approach ensures that each Service User is supported as an individual with dignity and respect. Each Service User has a designated Named Nurse and Keyworker, which, with the assistance of the Service User and family members, will design a holistic, tailor-made care package, maximizing independence and considering social, cultural and religious needs in conjunction with specialist nursing needs, to promote a positive care home experience. Central to this care package is the focus and development of the Service User as an individual, considering previous hobbies and interests and integrating these into care package as appropriate. We have developed strong links with the community and multi-disciplinary professionals, who provide on-site support at our request.
The decision to move into a care home is never easy. The Manager and staff at Flower Park endeavour to ensure a seamless transition into a new chapter of life, promoting positive experiences and memories for Service Users, families and friends.
