ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ELSWICK HALL CARE HOME
Elswick Hall provides residential and nursing care and support for up to 47 people, some of whom may have dementia. The Neurodisability Suite, located on the ground floor, provides nursing care to 18 people with various neurological conditions, as well as people with acquired brain injuries. The home is well equipped and comfortable with two spacious lounge/diners, both having flat secreen TV's to make the residents viewing more enjoyable. at the rear of the building we have a south facing garden, having worked with the northumberland Wildlife Trust the garden has plants and shrubs to attract the wildlife, there are also some raised beds with herbs and vegetables so that residents can get involved in growing their own. the garden also has a furnished patio area. all of the bedrooms have ensuite facilities with some overlooking the garden. residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms, and can even choose their own colour scheme to make them feel more homely.
