Elstree Lawns was originally an impressive private house and has since been converted into a well equipped specialist nursing home. It is conveniently situated in a pleasant, leafy suburb north of London, three miles from Borehamwood with local shops and buses located nearby.
The care we offer
Elstree Lawns offers specialist nursing care for older people with dementia related illnesses or for those with Parkinson's disease. The home can also provide palliative care, convalescence and respite. All Bupa staff provide professional, dedicated 24-hour care and support.

This former private house has been extended and converted to provide for the needs of its residents, including a dedicated quiet lounge and enclosed grounds with furnished patio and stimulating sensory garden. The home is on the local bus route and local shops and pubs are within walking distance.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms are decorated to a high standard with views over the pretty gardens. The rooms have telephone points, thermostatic radiators, smoke detectors and all have ensuite facilities. Residents are encouraged to bring their own ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture to personalise their room and make it feel more homely.
Home life
Residents can spend time relaxing or socialising in one of five well furnished, comfortable lounges. Elstree Lawns offers internet access for those residents who wish to keep in touch online, as well as flat screen televisions with Freeview to provide a range of viewing for all. The home benefits from a separate and dedicated activities area where the many and varied activities take place each week – all of which are tailored to the interests of residents.
The home has a delightful enclosed garden with plenty of seating which residents can enjoy and safely explore. The surrounding mature trees attract local wildlife and there is a relaxing water fountain and a pretty and colourful sensory garden for all to admire.
