ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - EASTGATE HOUSE RESIDENTIAL HOME
Eastgate House offers 20 residential beds within a period building setting. There are four double sized rooms, suitable for shared accommodation and eleven single rooms available.
Located close to the centre of Kings Lynn and adjacent to our other Kings Lynn facility, Kings Lynn Residential Home, Eastgate House benefits from the added convenience of being just five minutes walk from both the mainline rail and bus stations.
The character of the building contributes significantly to the warmth and intimacy of the home, making it the ideal choice for those wishing to experience a distinctive 'family' feel, with visiting friends and family always welcome.The refurbished dining room is a bright and cheerful area in which residents can enjoy their meals and our kitchen has recently gained an excellent “scores for doors” rating of 4.
A walk-in shower room on the first floor has proven to be a popular choice with many and the home offers a host of additional services, including exercise classes, chiropody, hairdressing and a visiting optician and dentist, amongst others.
Activities are an important part of daily living in the home, as they help our residents interact socially and also help to stimulate and motivate, giving residents a feeling of self worth. Residents of Eastgate House benefit further, being invited to take part in the wide range of activities provided each week at our sister facility next door.
