East Dean Grange is set among the rolling hills of the Downs countryside and is only a few miles from Eastbourne and the coast. The home has recently been extensively refurbished.
The care we offer
East Dean Grange offers residential care, convalescence, and respite. The home also offers day care to local older people in the community. Our home offers quality care from dedicated, well trained staff that provide 24-hour care in a professional and respectful way.
Food
Our chef believes in quality and variety. Our daily seasonal menu offers a wide choice of dishes, using only the finest ingredients and herbs from our garden where possible. Naturally, we cater for all tastes and diets - and offer snacks at any time of day. Visitors are also welcome to join residents for meals if they wish.
At East Dean Grange, we put great importance on fully understanding new residents' nutritional needs, tastes, special diets and preferences soon after their arrival, and we check regularly that such needs are being met. We make sure that on their birthdays each resident receives a celebratory meal and a personalised, homemade cake to make their day extra special.
Activities
Whatever the level of ability or mobility, there are activities to suit all residents. Enjoy some light exercise in the swimming pool or in the movement to music sessions, or take advantage of the mobile library and art classes on offer. The home hosts a series of popular clubs for residents including gardening, reading, bridge and cookery clubs.
