??????Down Lodge Residential Care Home in Wokingham is conveniently situated only 200 metres from the Market Square offering easy access to the local shopping area and facilities for residents and guests. Private parking is available with public transport links just a short walk away.
Being registered for 16 residents adds to our homely atmosphere where residents are part of "our family" and cared for by fully vetted trained staff 24hrs a day in comfortable homely surroundings. The owner who is the registered manager with the Care Quality Commission actively works in the home daily and has owned the business since 1988.
Down Lodge is a spacious well maintained home with bright airyrooms, all bedrooms are fully furnished although residents can bring personal items of furniture to personalise their bedroom. Our residents have access to a south facing garden via our conservatory, along with a seperate dinning room and lounge. We also have the services of several local GP's, Chiropodist, Hairdresser, Dentist and Optician.
Traditional meals are prepared by our own cooks daily following a varied and balanced nutritional menu, special diets can be catered for.
At Down Lodge the resiidents choice and independence is paramount and this is always put first. As well as long stay accommodation, Down Lodge offers Short Stay and Respite Care.
