ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - DEAN GRANGE
Dean Grange is a five bedded house situated within walking distance from the main site at Broadoak. All of the bedrooms are en suite, and there are two lounges, a dining room, and spacious farmhouse style kitchen. Outside there is over two acres of land, and the clients have the opportunity to care for chickens and other animals which live on the land. In the summer, the clients often have camping nights and there is a designated area for campfires with a seating area to enjoy on the long, warm evenings.
The clients who live at Dean Grange are usually very independent and enjoy being busy. In the day time they are out and about, either at work on one of the local farms, at college or at the resource centre on the main site. In the evenings they have a timetable of activities which they have planned to suit their needs. Activities include trips out to the local social clubs, pubs, cinema, bowling, as well as other seasonal activities depending on the time of the year.
