Croft House is a sensitively renovated seven bedded property offering support for individuals with autistic spectrum disorders and behaviours that challenge.

Croft House is located in the village of Thurcaston, on the edge of Charnwood Forest. Thurcaston is a popular, well established residential area, surrounded by unspoilt countryside yet within easy reach of shopping, leisure and educational facilities in Leicester and Loughborough. The service can be reached using public transport, including regular local buses.

Everyone is encouraged to develop and experience a range of activities with full support. Croft House is close to the combined villages of Thurcaston, Rothley and Anstey, which offer a wide range of local amenities including local shops, a post office and supermarkets, as well as health services. Beauty spots such as Bradgate Park, the Beacon and Cropston Reservoir, and leisure facilities such as cinemas, bowling centres, sports facilities, art galleries and riding schools are all nearby.

Croft House has been designed to respond to and support the needs of people who live there, whilst providing an environment that is warm and homely. Each of the seven bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with either a bath or a shower, depending on individual preference. We encourage people to bring their own belongings and to decorate their rooms in the style they prefer.

There is a large lounge, leading to a conservatory, which overlooks the rear garden. A separate activity centre is provided at the rear of the property, where service users can pursue a range of interests. There is a large domestic scale kitchen where people are supported to prepare meals and snacks, as well as a large dining room overlooking the front garden and a fully equipped sensory room.
