ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - CRECY RESIDENTIAL HOME
Crecy is registered to provide accommodation and personal care for up to 40 people. The home supports adults of all ages with mental health conditions. The ground floor supports people with mental health needs and the first floor supports older, frailer people with dementia. There is also a cottage attached to the main house which supports up to six people who are more independent.
Set in a peaceful area of Radipole and close to Weymouth seafront, Crecy is a specialist Mental Health Care Home, with a philosophy of empowerment - helping its residents maximise their choice and enjoyment of life.
Crecy is a specialised Care Home in the truest sense. Our Manager is a qualified nurse and our staff are trained in the provision of dementia or mental health care.
Our dementia unit can provide very personal and supportive assistance to those with this most traumatic of conditions. With over 20 years’ experience in this field, our aim is to help dementia sufferers enjoy a better life.
We never forget that family members of dementia sufferers can often neglected and frustrated. Their involvement and support is both encouraged and needed if the very best care for the sufferer is to be achieved.
