ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - CRAEGMOOR FITZWILLIAM LODGE
Fitzwilliam Lodge is an independent service and is located in the Parkgate area of Rotherham. Its a 16-bed service offering 24 hour support to service users with mental health/mild learning disability needs. Fitzwilliam Lodge offers support to help rehabilitate service users to build their daily living skills and work towards more independent living within the community.
We are more than just a Rotherham support service, we strive to make it our service users' home, a place where they can retain independence and personal freedom and live their lives with enjoyment and fulfillment.
We aim to treat all our service users as we would wish to be treated ourselves and believe that, while mental health or learning disabilities might mean they can no longer live as independent as wished it should not mean any loss of privacy, dignity or respect.
The staff and management have many years experience of providing expert care to vulnerable people in a homely, family atmosphere. Everything is geared towards ensuring that our service users are happy and our overall aim is to provide person centered support to individual needs.
We provide full support to relatives including the opportunity to visit at any time.
We accept local authority/CCG funded and self funded service users. Referrals are made from all aspects of services including outreach, hospitals and families.
We also have built up a strong relationship with outside services that provide additional support when needed.
