Our welcoming, friendly team has a great deal of expertise in caring for older people who have Alzheimer’s and other forms dementia, including individuals with complex needs. Crabbe Street care home incorporates many design features that support individuals with dementia, including a multi-sensory room and ‘wandering loops’ where residents can explore freely, without meeting closed doors or dead-ends.
We support residents to take part in the day-to-day life of the home in any way they want to and encourage each person to stay as active and independent as possible. And we offer residents lots of choice about important aspects of daily life, including when and where they want to eat their meals and what activities they’d like to take part in.
