ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - COURT HOUSE NURSING HOME
Court House Nursing Home is in a quiet residential area in Barnards Green, near the historic city of Worcester. Part of the home was previously a private house, and part has been purpose built to meet the needs of elderly residents. The home is convenient for local shops, parks and restaurants.
The care we offer
The home comprises four separate houses providing nursing care for older people and for the young physically disabled. We also provide specialist care to people with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's or Huntington's disease, and for those with brain injuries or who have had strokes. Support is also offered for residents requiring palliative care, convalescence or respite for any period of seven days or more.
Our registered nurses and care assistants provide extremely high levels of support and care 24-hours a day.
Key features of Court House
Ensuring every resident feels at home is of key importance at Court House, whether a resident is staying long-term or just for a short period. Residents can enjoy the comfortable, homely surroundings while receiving high levels of care and support when it’s needed - knowing that they will be encouraged to remain independent and live as full and active a life as possible.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms are for single occupancy, and are attractively decorated to a high standard. Some have views over the delightful gardens. Each room has thermostatic radiators, smoke detectors and a 24-hour call system fitted as standard. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with their own belongings such as pictures and ornaments, to make it feel more homely.
Garden
The gardens are a particularly attractive feature of home life at Court House. Each house has its own garden with a furnished patio area, ideal for relaxing on a sunny afternoon. The gardens have plenty of shrubs, flowering plants and fruit trees, as well as a beautiful water feature and summer house.
