ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - CLOVERDALE
Cloverdale is a detached house on Anstey Lane in Alton where we support four ladies. Set back from the road, Cloverdale has a lovely garden with unique features and is in a quiet area yet within a short walk of a local shop and park and not far from Alton town centre.
The ladies at Cloverdale have a range of needs including autistic tendencies, epilepsy, elective mutism, Smith Magenis Syndrome and communication difficulties.
Cloverdale has a large lounge/dining room and a small conservatory to the rear. There is a bright kitchen and separate laundry area. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and two are upstairs. There is also a bathroom on each floor.
People at Cloverdale are supported to make considered choices, attend activities in which they have an interest, be motivated each day and enjoy themselves. They particularly enjoy day trips to attractions such as Bird World, Hawk Conservatory, Longleat Safari Zoo, Stonehenge, Arundel Castle and various beaches.
The support staff at Cloverdale promote the use of Makaton and use person centred approaches to support each person to work towards their personal goals.
