Churchfields is a care home well-equipped to cover a range of needs, including dementia care and nursing. The home was purpose-built in 1988, specifically tailored to the needs, convenience and enjoyment of older people. Its professional, caring staff team now provides the person-centred care that lies at the heart of MHA’s values.

Set in a residential suburb of Nottingham with many amenities and shops, Churchfields is an easy bus ride from the centre of the thriving city. At Churchfields we have space for 70 people. All rooms are private, but the attractive lawns and communal lounges provide plenty of space for residents to relax and meet with each other.

Working hard to ensure the right balance of privacy and company for each individual, we encourage all our residents to express themselves in ways that best suit them. A full activities programme offers many opportunities for recreation and fun. At the same time, our highly trained staff members take the time to get to know each resident, talking to them and their families about their likes and dislikes and personal backgrounds and stories. This helps us to provide the right kind of care for each individual.

MHA is committed to providing alternative therapies such as reflexology and music therapy to residents, while our Chaplain offers pastoral support to all at Churchfields, whatever their beliefs. In these and countless other small ways, we endeavour to promote the well-being of all our residents, continuingly encouraging fulfilling relationships and positive experiences.
