ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - CHASEVIEW RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
Set in the residential area of Rush Green in the grounds of the old Rush Green Hospital, Chaseview is close to local shops and is on a local bus route. The home has recently opened Rush Green Short Stay and Community Centre, a new facility designed to offer local health services.
The care we offer
Chaseview is an established residential and nursing home providing care for elderly residents. The home offers specialist care and support to those with all levels of dementia and offers, palliative care and care for frail elderly people, as well as respite and care for people with Parkinson’s disease.
Food
At Chaseview we pride ourselves in meeting the requirements of our residents and we ensure that each person’s individual preferences are catered for. Our chef creates a wide range of balanced, nutritious dishes, prepared daily and there are always plenty of alternatives on offer, including cold options or lighter meals and snacks. Biscuits and delicious cakes are served with mid-morning and afternoon tea or coffee.
We also offer a Night Bite menu that’s available between 6.30pm and 6.30am, providing a range of food that includes fresh fruit, sandwiches, cereals, yoghurts and hot and cold beverages.
Activities
At Chaseview, our dedicated activities co-ordinator ensures there's always something enjoyable to do for residents of all abilities – from ladies and gentlemen’s mornings, to arts and crafts, bingo and quizzes.
We organise monthly events with seasonal themes for residents to participate in. Local entertainers such as singers, accordionists and pantomime performers frequently visit the home to entertain our residents. A mobile library calls regularly, and a hairdresser works from our on-site salon three times a week.
Activities don't just take place in the home. We organise visits to local places of interest, and enjoy trips to the local bowls club, and shopping afternoons in Romford.
