ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - CARER RELIEF SITTING SERVICE
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council Carer Relief Sitting Service provides people in the community who care for a relative or friend the opportunity to take a break from caring. The Sitting Service staff are called upon as required or necessary and can provide support to carers under three types of service; 'carer relief', 'emergency cover' and 'flexible breaks'. The service also provides staff as chaperones to accompany carers and people they care for to hospital appointments.
